1. Who we are
2. What we collect
- Profile information you submit: full name, role, years of experience, current country, preferred Indian city, return timeline, salary range, and short intro text.
- Contact details: email address, phone number, and LinkedIn identifier (verified via LinkedIn OIDC during sign-up).
- Recruiter identity: when a recruiter signs in we record their LinkedIn identifier, work email, declared company, and job title. When they request an intro, we record the request and your response.
- Operational metadata: IP address, user agent, basic analytics, and email delivery/bounce events strictly for fraud prevention and deliverability.
3. How we use it
- To publish only your anonymised, public profile fields on the marketplace (see section 4).
- To send you intro requests, your accept/decline notifications, and product emails you have opted into.
- To verify recruiter identity and prevent fraud, abuse, and spam.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not run third-party advertising, and we do not share your contact details with any recruiter unless you explicitly accept their intro request.
4. Public vs. private fields
Your profile is anonymous by default. The following fields are publicly visible to signed-in, vetted recruiters:
- First name + last initial (e.g. “Mani K.”)
- Role / title
- Years of experience
- Current country
- Preferred Indian city
- Return timeline (3, 6 or 12 months)
- Salary band
- Short intro text
The following fields are private and are shared with a specific recruiter only after you accept their intro request: full name, current company, email address, phone number, and LinkedIn subject identifier.
Recruiters themselves are gated: every recruiter signs in with LinkedIn on a verified work email (personal providers like gmail / yahoo / hotmail are blocked), and new companies are reviewed manually before they can browse profiles.
