Vetted recruiters only see an anonymous profile — role, city, timeline, salary band, and short intro. Your full name, current company, email, phone, and LinkedIn ID are only shared with recruiters you approve.

Every recruiter signs in with LinkedIn on a verified work email — personal providers (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.) are blocked. New companies are reviewed manually before they can see any profiles. Once approved, they browse and filter by city, role, and return timeline.

When a recruiter is interested, they send a short note. You get a single summary email with their company, role, and message. You accept or decline in one click. Only when you accept do we share your full name, email, and phone with that recruiter — and only with that recruiter.

Is BackToIndia Talent free for candidates?
Yes. Listing yourself, receiving intros, and accepting offers is completely free for returning NRIs. Recruiters pay for access.
Will my current employer see my profile?
Almost certainly not. Recruiters only see an anonymous profile — role, city, timeline, salary band, and intro — never your full name or current company. You can also pause or delete your listing from your dashboard at any time.
What exactly is shared with recruiters, and when?
Visible to verified recruiters browsing the directory: an anonymous display name, role, years of experience, current country, preferred Indian city, return timeline, salary band, and intro text. Only shared with recruiters you approve: full name, current company, email address, phone number, LinkedIn identifier.
What if I am not 100% sure about my return timeline yet?
Pick the most realistic window (3, 6 or 12 months). You can always update or pause your profile if your plans change.
How are recruiters verified?
Every recruiter signs in with LinkedIn on a work email. Companies on our trusted allowlist get instant access; everyone else is reviewed manually before they can see any profiles. Personal email providers are never accepted.
Can a recruiter contact me directly?
No. Recruiters cannot DM, email, or call you. They can only request an intro through the platform. You receive one summary email per request and choose to accept or decline. Contact details are shared only on accept.
